Who we are

Markus – the all-rounder with a passion for cycling and cooking

Markus is the heart of the hotel, dedicating himself with great commitment to both the management and reception. As a passionate cyclist, he knows the most beautiful routes in and around La Valle and is always happy to share his tips with our guests – it’s no coincidence that Hotel Pider is also known as a bike hotel. His second great passion is cooking: He worked as a chef for many years and now brings this experience to the business with great care and dedication.

Zita – creative, warm-hearted and full of ideas

Zita has a keen sense of creativity and beauty, and this talent is reflected in every detail of the hotel. Whether in the loving design, the special decorations or the creative ideas – she simply gives the hotel a unique atmosphere. She also supports the team at the bar and at reception. In her free time, Zita loves spending time outdoors: On walks and hikes, she enjoys immersing herself in the nature around the Val Badia.

Daniel – the eldest, always looking to the future

Daniel, the eldest of three siblings, has completed hotel management school and is now studying International Business in Innsbruck. With his organised approach and sound knowledge, he provides important impetus for the future development of the hotel. In addition to his studies, he is passionate about sport and enjoys keeping active in his free time.

Martina – dedicated and right at the heart of things

Martina is the middle child and attends hotel management school. She enthusiastically supports the team in the service sector and brings a breath of fresh air to the family business. Besides her enthusiasm for the hotel industry, she is very athletic: she loves going on long rides on her E-bike or exploring the mountains. Martina is also creative like her mother Zita, very friendly and loves spending time with friends – she is always on the go, full of energy and drive.

Lorenz – motivated and talented

Lorenz, our youngest, attends hotel management school, just like his sister Martina. He is diligent and meticulous and always works very hard at school. Alongside his training, Lorenz expresses his creativity through music as a talented pianist, while also pursuing his sporting side in karate, which he practises with great discipline and enthusiasm.

Together with sisters Margot and Doris, senior proprietor Albert and the entire team at Hotel Pider, the family forms a close-knit community that ensures every guest feels truly welcome, with warmth and dedication.
